Bugs. Historically, they get a bad rap. Let's examine the evidence:
- They get blamed for scaring little girls off their tuffets…
- Harming hungry old ladies who accidentally swallow them…
- Breaking your computer.
Their bad reputation isn't deserved.
Why should you care about insects?
Insects are the cornerstone of all life on Earth. They pollinate our plants and flowers, they help waste decompose, and, without them, our planet's ecosystems could collapse within months!
WeLoveBugs.org is simply a bunch of folks who believe unconditionally in the intrigue, beauty and significance of insects. As bug ‘activists,’ we turn fear into fascination, and we're looking for caring individuals like you to help expand our Bug-a-lution around the world.

What really has us excited? This summer, Audubon Insectarium opens its doors in downtown New Orleans. An entire museum devoted to the creepy, crawly, cute and cuddly — even the ones who bite. Big, small, from near and far. We've heard that they're off the wall and even out of the jar!
Audubon Insectarium will be the BIGGEST thing to happen to New Orleans since the OTHER biggest thing, and it’s important to tell the world that like our insect friends, New Orleans is buzzing! Join us in spreading the word.
LOVE BUGS. BE PROUD. SPREAD THE WORD.
